TOP 5 PLACES TO VISIT IN PERTH
COTTESLOE BEACH
Cottesloe Beach is our favourite beach in Perth, Western Australia! This is where we have most of our short stay properties. With more than a kilometre of pure white sand, lots of grassed areas to sit, cafes & restaurants just steps away & clear, flat water, how could it not be a favourite?
Join in with the thousands of other Aussies & take a dip in Cottesloe Beach this Summer.
More information about Cottesloe Beach can be found here.
ROTTNEST ISLAND
Visiting Rottnest Island and taking a photo with a quokka is top of the list when visiting Perth. It’s an iconic ‘Thing to Do’ when you visit, as I’m sure you would have seen all over the news.
Just a short 30-minute ferry ride from Fremantle or a 45-minute ride from Perth City, you will be on the door stop of our protected nature reserve. White sandy beaches, secluded coves & thousands of bikes (bikes as a It’s the only transport around the island), is what you’ll find when you enjoy a day at Rottnest Island.
Visit the Rottnest Island website for more information.
KINGS PARK
One of the biggest parks in the world, Kings Park & The Perth Botanic Gardens is a large tourist spot to tick off the list when visiting Perth. With a stunning view of the Swan River & Perth City skyline, it’s where you will get your memorable ‘Perth’ photos for the album.
FREMANTLE
Fremantle provides a number of historical places & buildings for you to explore. The Fremantle Harbour is a beautiful place to enjoy some fish & chips, the Fremantle Prison will deliver an abundant amount of history & the arts centre will make you inspired.
We would recommend planning a whole day here to make sure you see all the sights.
SWAN VALLEY
Just 25 minutes north-east of Perth is the wonderful Swan Valley. Here you will find Perth’s oldest vineyards. You can cruise up to the Swan Valley, take a bus or even cycle through to visit your desired spots. We would recommend by bus or cruise so you can ‘fully’ enjoy all the amazing wines at each & every location’s tasting session. From Houghton’s Winery & Sandalford Wines, to Elmar’s in the Valley & Ferrel Brewing Company, it will be an exciting day out for all attending!
