Australia Day in Perth
Have you got your Australia Day celebrations planned? From visiting the swan valley to the foreshore, Executive Escapes has prepared a list of places for the best views of the fireworks to celebrate everything Australia.
The greatest thing about Australia Day is diversity in action. The 35th Perth Skyworks brings together over 400,000 people and is the largest Australia Day celebration in the country. Western Australia is not shy of providing a fantastic fireworks show, that’s for sure!
Some things to do around the city:
2019 Australia Day Morning Ceremony & Great Aussie Breakfast at South Perth
Lotterywest Entertainment Zone at Langley Park
Birak Concert at the Supreme Court Gardens
A huge night for the entire family that will include waterslides, rides for the kids and even a Motocross and BMX stunt show.
When staying in South Perth, simply take a walk down to the South Perth foreshore with the whole family, visit the Kid’s Art Tent and bring some inspiration about Australia while decorating a kite or a paper umbrella, making a friendship bracelet, creating a beautiful sand art card or making an original fridge magnet.
Roving entertainers and performers will add to the fun atmosphere: Balloon Artistry by Aaron Smith, Samba Band Beleza Samba, Puppeteers from DNA Puppetry, Hey Presto Magician, Hula Lula Ladies Band, Shrinking Violet Stilt Walkers and the Dinosaur Kids Train.
The Celebration Zone will then wrap up at 7.30pm, giving you enough time to get your favourite spot to watch the fireworks.
From all of us at Executive Escapes, we wish you a HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY!
